Based in India since 2014, our Head of Talent Hannah Freeman has a long history with Talent Formula. Through 6 years of regular HR consulting activities, she has acted as a collaborative partner in establishing our culture and building the professional development of the growing team.
As a talent and culture specialist, Hannah joined the team in-house officially in March 2022. Her expertise across both Australia and India lies in developing contextualised people and culture solutions for internal businesses.
What Are You Responsible For At Talent Formula?
My key responsibilities include defining the HR strategy and yearly HR plan in India as well as attracting, sourcing, and selecting industry-leading talent. I manage the employee journey from recruitment, learning and development to performance management and retention, through to exit. I also engage in talent and succession planning across the teams.
My role is ultimately centred on building and fostering a high-performing and collaborative workplace culture while developing and implementing a robust HR policy and procedure suite.
What’s The Best Part About Your Job?
I love to design and build customised talent and culture solutions. In my role at Talent Formula, I am able to combine my Australian business mindset with my experience in managing and engaging an Indian workforce. This has allowed me the opportunity to leverage the skills and capabilities of the Indian team to achieve strong results.
What Has Been Your Biggest Accomplishment Working At Talent Formula?
My consulting work with Talent Formula enabled me to partner with the business in designing and implementing the Company Charter. A set of values that supports and encourages collaborative behaviours and high-performance delivery.

What’s A Fun Fact About You That Others Might Not Know?
In 2014 I set off on the adventure of a lifetime and hiked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
